python3-audioread software package provides Backend-agnostic audio decoding Python 3 package, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python3-audioread
python3-audioread is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python3-audioread package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python3-audioread *
You will get with python3-audioread package name, version, architecture and description in a table
